This saddle is made on our close contact, lightweight #2 youth composite covered saddle tree. Made from genuine Hermann Oak® 1st grade skirting leather. Fenders fitted with peacock safety irons swing from stainless steel stirrup bars and can be detached to meet some of the enforced safety rules. The seat is padded and 3 way rigging offers multiple girthing options and is compatible with our loop-on girth points (available separately).

A basic no-frills saddle for the rider who still values quality
This saddle has been developed on our popular #3 close contact wood composite mesh covered tree with double reinforced gullet and knee pads. A shaped, composite ground seat is used in the tree then leather covered and shaped (the seat for this saddle is unpadded).
The fenders are mounted on stainless steel stirrup bars so that they can detach to meet some of the safety requirements now enforced in some riding events. The Stanley is crafted using Hermann Oak saddle skirting leather (all rough out) and all stitching is lock stitched. Stainless steel 3 way rigging plates, stainless steel hardware and platinum series oxbows are standard.
Suitable for work, breaking in, competition or general riding.
