Occupation/Education? I am currently studying in year 10 at St Francis de sales regional college Leeton
Riding Discipline/s? Eventing, Show Jumping, Interschools (polo x, working horse challenge) & Dressage but my favourite discipline would have to be Eventing as you have to be passionate and dedicated to succeed.
Riding Goals? I have always wanted to compete at an International 3 day event and bring my horse Louie up through the eventing levels.
Family History with Horses? My mother has ridden horses since she was young and there are horse riders on both sides of my family back through the generations.
What age did you start riding? I started riding at the age of 4 on the lead on a pony called Mara and then was riding independently on a lovely old pony named Lucy when I was 5 years old.
How many horses do you have in work at the moment? At the moment I have two horses in work my main horse is my 6 year old pure Connemara CSU Lyrebird (Louie) who I compete quite often, I am also bringing up another young horse Bunara Australis (Austin) a New forest x Morgan who is also 6 and I will hopefully be competing him soon.
What has been your biggest achievement so far? At the North West Equestrian Expo in 2015, I was champion 13 years showjumper and also overall 13 years reserve champion which was an amazing achievement for me as there was so any strong competitors in my age group.
Who is your idol? My idol would have to be Shane Rose as he is such an inspiration to me as he has gone through so much but he kept riding even though there have been a heap of bumps in the road, he has got through every one and has had a lot of success with his riding.
Who is your coach and what are their best word of advice for you?
Hunter Doughty- Always have a contact with the horse and never take your legs off they are how you stay on if your horse spooks.
Sarah Venamore- Your head is like a 10kg bag of sugar if you tilt forward you horse has trouble balancing.
What do you like to do outside of horses? Not too much other than riding and vaulting it is pretty hard to fit anything in between working horses, competing and school.

Riding Goals? To pursue a career in the equestrian industry as a rider and to train my horse up through the dressage levels and to learn to train other horses in the future. I also enjoy helping and encouraging younger riders whenever I get the opportunity.
Family History with Horses? My Mother has been riding horses since she was a young girl and I just followed that path. Both of my Grandmothers rode horses as children also.
What age did you start riding? I was 5 when I started riding but I have been around horses since I was born.
How many horses do you have in work at the moment? At the moment I have my main horse ‘Red Bluff Country Rambler’ (Rambler) in full work and I am starting to bring in Ramblers half-brother ‘Red Bluff Auberon’ (Obi). I also have a 2 year old filly ‘Just in Bliss’ (Bliss) whom I have handled and trained since she was born.
What has been your biggest achievement so far?

What has been your biggest achievement so far? Winner of FEI Childrens Tour Australian Championships, which gave me a world ranking of 17

Who is your coach and what are their best word of advice for you? Chris, Brian, Michael & Georgie Lucas for jumping. Toni Pearce for dressage. Their best advice for me is to keep my left hand still!!!
