Myler Bits

The creators of Myler Bits - Ron, Dale and Bob Myler offer a philosophy behind every one of their bits. The bit is a communication tool, and to effectively communicate with a horse, the horse needs to be relaxed. To properly bit a horse, the rider needs a bit which allows the horse to be relaxed.
The Mylers have designed an entire bitting system to effectively communicate with any horse at any level of training. Based in bitting a horse appropriately through his/her training, the system works by releasing points of pressure and using softer bits as the horse progresses.
Because of the bit variations available, the system may seem complex. Each mouthpiece is coordinated to a horse's level of training which is generalised into three levels. The levels are used as a guide for bit selection as you match the horse and riders needs.
Below are the more popular Myler bits we sell. We are happy to order in anything else from the Myler range.
