Platinum Grackle Noseband

Made from top quality leather with sheepskin padding on nose. Named after the 1931 Grand National winner who wore one. Sometimes referred to as a "Figure 8" noseband.
Grackle nosebands offer similar benefits as a drop noseband, but are said to be less constrictive to the horse's breathing because the nose pressure is localised higher up the face.
A correctly fitted grackle noseband will have the centre piece (where the straps cross) sitting approximately in line with the end of the horse's cheekbone.

Platinum Rope Gag Straps

This is a pair of gag straps, used with a gag snaffle bit. The buckle ends connect to the headpiece of the bridle, while the nylon cords are fed through the gag rings of the bit.
The ring end is used to connect the gag rein. Simply loop the cord over the ring for fitting to the bit.
